About Us

Driven by an ideal to ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God’, Elena Bettini, then a young Roman Christian woman, along with Father Tommaso Manini, was inspired to start the congregation – ‘Daughters of Divine Providence’, in 1832. It was then that we took our first step in assisting the Church and Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus, by undertaking social work. Ever since, we have strived in serving communities across Italy, Chile, U.S.A, Mexico, Poland, India and Brazil, and will continue reaching out to people across the world.
