FINAL PROFESSION – 2018
14th July 2018: We the Daughters of Divine Providence are filled with gratitude to God for the gift of Sr. Mary Treesa Nayak and Sr. Mary Saritha Nayak as they pronounce their final yes to the plan of God. Their “yes” is not an event that takes place just today, but in the past and till today they have been listening to the will of God and were responding positively to the promptings of the spirit in their lives and that makes them to profess today that they want to give their lives for Christ and his kingdom trusting in the Divine Providence.
We have gathered in the Elena Bettini Regional House chapel for this solemn celebration at 10.30 am with great joy and Happiness. The Holy Eucharist is solemnized by Rt. Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, Emeritus Archbishop, Bangalore. Most of the sisters and their family members could participate and pray for them.
They professed their vows in the hands of the Regional Superior Sr. Mary Thumbalan, delegated by the Superior General Rev. Mother Ernestina Pomarolly. They are given the medal, lighted candle and the crown as the symbol of their belongingness to the Lord and to the Institutte.
We appreciate and congratulate their decision to follow Christ forever by embracing the evangelical Council of chastity, poverty and obedience. When they opt this choice saying “ I am forever yours” they are aware of the challenges what they have to face and a lot of uncertainties in life. Even though everything in the future is not so sure, not so clear they make their promise with the challenging trust in the provident Father.
